1. What is DUFALAK and what to use
Dufalak contains a laxative called lactulose. It makesthe stool soft and facilitates their passage through the intestines by drawing water in them.
Dufalak is used in the treatment of constipation (hardbowel movement, dry and hard stools) for receipt ofsoft stools.

2. BEFORE TAKING DUFALAK
Do not take Dufalak:
If you are allergic (hypersensitive) to lactulose or any of the ingredients listed in point 6;
If you are suffering from galactosemia (a rare geneticdisease in which you cannot reach a Galactose);
in cases of intestinal obstruction (other than normalconstipation).
If you are not sure, please consult your doctor or pharmacist before you confirm Dufalak.

Please consult with your doctor before you takeDufalak if you suffer from any of the following medical conditions or diseases:
If you can't reach a milk sugar (lactose).
You should not take Dufalak if you suffer from:
Galactose intolerance
lactose insufficiency;
glucose-Galactose malabsorption;
If you have diabetes.
If you have diabetes and you treated for hepatic encephalopathy, your dose of Dufalak will be higher.This high dose contains a large amount of sugar. The dosage used for the treatment of hepatic coma (re)usually is much higher and so the dose of YourMedicine antidiabetno should be modified.
The continued adoption of dose neadaptirana (leading to the 2-3 soft bowel movements per day) can lead todiarrhea and disruption of electrolyte balance. Pleasedo not take Dufalak without medical advice more than 2 weeks.
During treatment with laxatives you should takeenough fluids (average 2 gallons per day, equivalent to6-8 glasses).
If no improvement after the first few days of treatmentor reappear after treatment constipation, consult a doctor.
