2. what YOU NEED to KNOW BEFORE USING DIKLAKGEL
Do not use Diklak gel
If you are allergic to diclofenac or any of the otheringredients of this medication (listed in point 6);
on open wounds, damaged skin, inflammations or infections of the skin;
on the mucous membranes;
If, on the application of acetylsalicylic acid/aspirin or other NSAIDs you get an asthma attack, rash or fever;
in children and adolescents;
in the last three months of pregnancy.
Warnings and precautions
If you suffer from asthma, hay fever, nasal polyps(swollen nasal mucosa), chronic lung disease or chronic infections of the respiratory system (like symptoms ofhay fever);
If you are hypersensitive to anti-inflammatory products from all the groups, there is a higher risk of asthma attacks (so-called intolerance to analgesics/analgetičnaasthma), local swelling of the skin and mucous membranes (so-called edema of Kvinke) or hives inapplication of Diklak gel than for other patients. In these patients Diklak gel can be applied only subject to certain precautions and monitoring by a physician. The same applies to patients developing allergic reactionsto other substances, which occur with skin reactions,itching or hives;
Care must be taken not to gel gets into contact with the eyes or mucous membranes.
Other medications and Diklak gel
It is unlikely to occur in the application of drug interactions Diklak gel. However, you must inform the treating physician, if at the same time you are taking orhave recently taken any other medicines.
