
ASPIRIN COMPLEX / ASPIRIN COMPLEX pharmaceutical company Bayer is a drug with anti-inflammatory action which reduces high body temperature, nasal congestion and relieves pain at colds. White granules contain two drugs, acetylsalicylic acid (Aspirin) and pseudoephedrine hydrochloride.
Before you take Aspirin Complex:
Do not take Aspirin Complex:
if you are allergic (hypersensitive) to acetylsalicylic acid or any of the other ingredients of Aspirin Complex;
if you are allergic to salicylates, a group of substances to which it belongs acetylsalicylic acid;
if you suffer from stomach ulcers: if you have an increased tendency to bleed;
if you are pregnant or breast-feeding;
if you have kidney or liver failure;
if you have severe, unstable cardiac insufficiency;
if you take 15 mg (or more) a week methotrexate;
if you have very high blood pressure or severe coronary artery disease;
if you are taking an antidepressant containing a monoamine oxidase (MAO).
Take special care with Aspirin Complex
If you are allergic (hypersensitive) to other analgesics, anti-rheumatic products or anti-inflammatory medication;
If you suffer from allergies (eg. a rash, itching, hives), asthma, hay fever, swelling of the lining of the nose (nasal polyps) or chronic lung disease;
if you are taking other medicines to thin the blood and prevent clot (anticoagulants);
if you have a history of stomach ulcers or gastrointestinal bleeding;
if you have impaired kidney and liver function; if you have an operation (including small operations such as tooth extraction);
If you suffer from overactive thyroid, diabetes, heart disease, increased intraocular pressure, an enlarged prostate gland or sensitivity to any component of the accepted cough / cold medications such as phenylephrine and ephedrine (sympathomimetic);
coadministration of painkillers.
You are at increased risk for renal impairment;
if you are prone to gout. In the low-dose acetylsalicylic acid reduces the excretion of uric acid in the urine, which can cause an attack of gout.
