2. BEFORE YOU TAKE ASPIRIN with
Do not take aspirin with:
If you are allergic (hypersensitive) to aspirin or othersalicylates, ascorbic acid or any of the other ingredientsof aspirin with;
If you have active ulcers of the stomach or duodenum;
at the risk of bleeding (hemorrhagic diatheses);
If in the past you had asthma, provoked by application of salicylates or substances with similar effect, especiallynonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs;
in combination with methotrexate in doses of 15 mg/week or more (see "use of other medicines");
If you suffer from severe kidney failure;
If you suffer from severe liver failure;
If you suffer from severe heart failure;
during the last trimester of pregnancy (see "pregnancy and lactation").
Is not suitable for children under 12 years of age.
Pay particular attention to the use of ASPIRIN with
When hypersensitivity to other analgesics/anti-inflammatories or protivorevmatični medicines or otherallergenic substances;
at the same time treatment with anticoagulants (see "use of other medicines");
in the case of gastrointestinal ulcers in the past, including chronic or recidiviraŝa (recurring) ulcers or data for gastro-intestinal bleeding in the past;
in the case of impaired kidney function or patients withcompromised cardiovascular circulation (e.g. renalvascular disease, congestive heart failure, hypovolemic,major surgery, blood poisoning (sepsis) or majorhemorrhagic events) as acetylsalicylic acid may furtherincrease the risk of kidney damage or acute renal failure;
in the case of impaired liver function;
before surgical intervention (including small operations like removal of the tooth); bleeding time may beextended. Please inform your doctor or pharmacist that you are taking Aspirin with.
