AMBREKS contains ambroksolov hydrochloride syrupthat liquefies the bronchial secretions and strengthensthe movement of the Cilia of the bronchial mucosawhich leads to hard separation of the secret.
2. BEFORE YOU TAKE AMBREKS
Do not take AMBREKS
If you are allergic (hypersensitive) to, or its derivativeambroksol bromhexine, or any of the other ingredients of AMBREKS. An allergic reaction can be recognized bythe appearance of the rash, itching, redness of the skin or breathing difficulty;
If you are pregnant in the first three months of pregnancy;
If you make the treatment of stomach ulcers and/orduodenal ulcer.
Pay particular attention when using AMBREKS
Consult your doctor before you start taking AMBREKSsyrup, in the event that you suffer from kidney or liver failure;
Do not take AMBREKS, if you have mapped the treatment with codeine or other protivokašlični means.When these drugs are administered jointly, the removal of heavy secretions from the Airways disrupts;
There are rare reports of patients after the use ofambroksol appeared sharp skin reactions with violatingthe integrity of the skin, ulceration or blisters (Stevens-Johnson Syndrome and syndrome of Lyle). Therefore, ifyou notice the onset of reactions on the part of the skin and mucous membranes, you should immediatelyconsult your physician and to discontinue the use ofthe AMBREKS.
Intake of other drugs
Please inform your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking or have recently taken any other medicines,including those obtained without a prescription.
It is particularly important to inform your doctor:
If you take antibiotics such as amoxicillin, cefuroxime, erythromycin and doxycycline as a joint use withambroksolov hydrochloride results in a higher concentration of antibiotic in bronchial secretions and saliva;
If you take atropine, amantadine, tricyclicantidepressants, Haloperidol, blockers of H1 receptorsand procainamide. They inhibit the activity of cilia and decreased excretion of mucus.
Pregnancy and lactation
Ask your doctor or pharmacist before using any medicine.
The safety of this product during pregnancy is notproven. Its use during the first trimester is not recommended.
AMBREKS passes into breast milk. If you are pregnant,think you are pregnant or breastfeeding, consult your doctor before taking this medicine.
